First of all: Happy Birthday to this girl!
Steph has been one of my best friends since freshman year of college, she was my roommate for two years, and she’s a bridesmaid in my wedding (as am I in hers in a few months). Happy birthday, Steph!
On to the weekend recap.
*Disclaimer — I did not use my camera much (ok, at all) this weekend. But luckily, I found some great pictures of all the places I went this weekend, so be sure to check out the sites where these pics came from (because a few include reviews of that particular place)*
On Saturday, we first started with drinks with friends at Points East Pub.

(Didn’t get the wings this time around, but they are the best in the city).
Then a walk to Brady Street for dinner.

Then more drinks at Stubby’s.

This was a new to us bar that we LOVED. Fifty-five beers on tap (plus flights, like the summer beer flight I got and a IPA flight James got), a great patio on the river, and what looks like a great menu. Too bad we discovered this place just a few weeks before we move out of the city.

Today, we headed to a movie at one of the coolest theaters I’ve ever been too.

It’s a small theater on the east side, but it shows movies that aren’t always in the mainstream, and it’s beautiful.
We saw Safety Not Guaranteed, and guys, This. Movie. Is. Amazing.

Loved it! We both laughed a ton, smiled a lot, and I may have shed one tear at the end. So so good! (Check out Staci’s post for more details).
The rest of today was spent with this show:
Now, we’re watching the latest episode of The Glades. It was a relaxing, lazy weekend, but it was so great to just hang out together and discover some new places. Definitely a great weekend!
Hope you had a wonderful weekend as well!!
