First off, I am a terrible daughter, but — even though I am two days late — HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to these two amazing, wonderful people!
Don’t worry, I told them on Wednesday, but forgot to post about it. My parents have been married for 31 years, and they have set an amazing example! So, happy anniversary to my two favorite people! Love you both so much!!

Tonight is bittersweet, yet I don’t think it has hit us yet. Tonight is the last Friday night in our apartment
By Sunday, all of our furniture (except for our tv likely because we haven’t switched our cable yet), will be at our new apartment.
This is the last Friday we will come home from work, order some delivery thai (and we checked, our favorite Thai place won’t deliver to the new apartment), drink some wine/beer, and wind down from the week — in this apartment, anyway! That routine is our staple for Friday nights, but it will never be here, in downtown Milwaukee, again.
BUT, we are moving to a bigger place, with a bigger gym, and a pool. So, it’s a fair trade off.
So far, this has been a good evening.
It started with a quick trip to the Public Market to pick up some local Wisconsin goodies for my July Foodie Pen Pal. I’m pretty excited with what I got her, so I hope she likes it

The Public Market is awesome by the way — a must visit for local goods!
When I got home, I saw that my package from Tastefully Simple arrived. I ordered two things. I’ll show you the other one when I make it, but I immediately sampled this little number:
This caramel mocha frappuccino mix is fab! I love that I can bring my own frappuccinos to work (saves on money and cals), but I really need to invest in some whipped cream and caramel topping!
For dinner, James and I ordered Thai (of course), and also enjoyed some of this delicious wine that Molly and Steve brought us last weekend. It’s from a winery in Monticello, Indiana and it is so good! It is definitely a great way to end our tenure in the apartment.
Finally, we are spending the entire evening watching, what else, Breaking Bad. We are 3 episodes from finishing season 4, and holy cow, this sh*t’s cray! (Sorry, just a little Jay-Z for you [and Kanye, but I don't acknowledge him]).

Also, side note, but the best thing ever also happened this evening. So, I set our DVR to record Breaking Bad in the middle of the night, but I set it for a block of time that records other things on AMC before and after the episodes. The episode that was on in the middle of last night was proceeded by one of my favorite movies of all times…

I ended up recording almost an hour of it, so although we didn’t watch that whole thing, we did watch portions including the famous slow clap (which I may have teared up at a bit, even though I have seen the movie approximately 6,000 times). James also learned something new about his fiancé tonight — I can recite the entire movie. I think he was proud
Well on that note, time to enjoy the rest of our last Friday in this apartment!
Have a great night!!
