I’m going to keep this one a little short because James and I just got back from golfing and haven’t eaten dinner yet (brats are currently on the grill! Welcome to Wisconsin!).
I was able to get in my early morning outside run today. Paige mentioned running outside yesterday because it has been a little cooler out, and I knew I had to get in an outside run before the weather goes crazy.
The original plan was to run 5 miles, but when I woke up 2 minutes before my alarm went off, I decided to forego one mile in favor of an extra 10 minutes of snooze time. I do not regret it.
So it was only 4 miles, and a slow 4 miles at that, but I definitely enjoyed it. Running outside will always be very favorite form of working out.

I also tried out this new honey with my oatmeal (and peanut butter) this morning. I love that the jar is a bear — call me a child, but seriously, how adorable?
Because it was so warm after work, and because we are both busy tomorrow, we decided to get in a little golf this evening. No pics of us golfing, but here’s my golf bag.
We played 9 holes on a par three, so it went really quickly, but it was fun to spend some time with James, and we both did pretty well (him better than me, obv).
Golf is one of my favorite ways to work out as well (after running of course), even though I’ve been told that golf and working out don’t mix. I love that I can get in some physical activity and get sun at the same time. Seriously — the best of my two favorite things: working out and sunshine
Final note, AMC is replaying all four seasons of “Breaking Bad” before the season premiere, so I get to catch up on the show I’ve heard so much about! The first three episodes will be on in the middle of the night tonight, so the DVR is set.
Well, time to enjoy some dinner with my boys. This guy will only be begging, not eating.
